JIP Enterprises Pty Ltd (ABN 80 703 063 978), trading as JIP Procurement, respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we look after it. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
This website
This website is an information site. It has no user accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking cookies. The enquiry form on the contact page is a demonstration only at present. Anything you type into it stays in your browser. It is not submitted to JIP and is not stored. To reach us, please call or email. Fonts and images are served from our own site, so your browser is not sent to third-party services when you view a page.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare automatically processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We do not use this information to identify you.
Information we collect
We collect personal information when you contact us by email or phone, or when we work with you on a project. This usually includes:
- your name, role and company
- your email address, phone number and business address
- project details you give us, such as drawings, schedules, quantities and delivery sites
- records of our correspondence, quotations, orders and invoices
We do not seek sensitive information, and we ask that you do not send it to us.
How we use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, source and supply materials, arrange storage and delivery, manage accounts and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is needed to deliver your project or run our business. This may include manufacturers and suppliers, freight, warehousing and logistics providers, and service providers who help us run our business.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
